Second Nature art collections
For over twenty years, Second Nature Software created hundreds of collections for our viewing pleasure and for the benefit of various non-profit environmental agencies. Altogether, they were able to donate more than $2.5 million dollars to help preserve the world's natural wonders and wildlife!

Welcome to the family art gallery. Here you will find many resources for adding graphic art to your presentations, scrapbooks, newsletters, etc. Graphic art objects can be stored in a number of formats. Each format has its unique advantages and disadvantages. My personal preference is to use the JPEG (or .jpg) format for most art that is stored on the web site. This is because it compresses so well for internet transfers and because most computer applications can convert to/from JPEG files for use on your computer.

In computing, "JPEG" is a commonly used standard method of compressing photographic images. The file format which employs this compression is commonly also called JPEG; the most common file extensions for this format are .jpg, .jpeg, or .jfif, although .jpg is the most common on all platforms. JPEG is also an acronym for the Joint Photographic Experts Group, which created the standard.
